Alright, voting shall begin! But first, we have the rules, dates, and guidelines!

Rules, Dates, and Guidelines for Round 1 Beta Kids VA Voting

Round 1 entries for voice acting the Beta Kids will be voted on by fans. Fans who did not submit auditions will get 1 vote per character . The entries will be listed with numbers. To vote, simply post a comment to this journal in the following way: character name (ex: Rose) entry number (ex: 4). This means admins may vote as well.

Anybody who submitted an entry to this round may still vote - just not for their own character! That doesn't mean they can't vote at all, it means they can't vote for anybody who submitted an audition for the same character they did. For example, if they submitted an audition for Dave, they can still vote for John, Rose, and Jade. Basically, don't vote for yourself or anybody else if you auditioned for that same character they did. Wow I've messed up this section so many times... You know what I mean!!!

When voting, take into account the entrant's voice, emotion, and general voice acting ability. If they submitted multiple entries, consider if there is any noted improvement between them. Do they have potential? All entrants who move on to the next round will have to do another audition, so don't be too worried!

If you still want to submit an audition, the last day we will to add new auditions and entrants to this journal is Tuesday, 5/28. Please note the group with the name of the character(s) you are auditioning for and the appropriate links (make sure it is clear!). Voters may vote before this date though. They are, however, encouraged to listen to any new auditions.

Any voters who want to change their votes are asked to comment as a reply to their previous vote their changes with all character votes included, even ones not changed. We also ask that general discussion isn't held here - we don't want to miss any votes!

The last day to vote will be Sunday, June 2.

Some info on after Round 1

After voting is finished, we will take a few days to tally all the votes (we will try to be as timely as possible). The 5 entrants for each character who get the most votes will get written interviews from our organizers. The purpose of these interviews is to make sure that any VAs would be a good fit for the team. We need members who can get along, have enough time to work on their part, and just are generally good at their jobs!

The last part will be a final audition for these final 5s. It will involve seeing what they can do with some pesterlogs and emotions, and everybody will receive the same material to be auditioning with for their respective character. Fans again will have the final say on who is best, each getting 1 vote. The entrant with the most votes for their character shall be the official VA for them in our group. The entrant with the second most votes for their character shall be our official understudy for that character (we may need a backup if something happens!).

Important Info for Entrants!

Once again, you may vote for characters you didn't audition for (ex. If you auditioned for Dave, you can't vote for yourself or anybody else's audition for Dave). You may still vote on characters you didn't audition for (ex. You auditioned for Dave, you can still vote for Rose, John, and Jade.

If you are noticing a problem with your link, it could be possible that the link you posted to the original audition deviation is broken. Anybody who experiences this should note the group with a new link (new auditions also acceptable) and which audition number to replace. Admins will fix the link in this page for you! Sorry for any delays!

Another possible issue is that the link has a # before the name of the entrant in the soundcloud link. If you find a problem, please note the group to check if that is the issue first! If it is, we will fix it. Again, sorry for any delays!
